Abigail Humphries

Deputy Head of Housing

Abigail is a Senior Caseworker and the Deputy Head of the Housing team based in our Oxford office.

She advises clients in relation to all publicly funded housing issues including homelessness and possession matters. She has a particular interest in assisting those who are homeless as a result of domestic abuse or mental health issues. She also has experience of defending possession proceedings against vulnerable tenants.

Abigail provides assistance at Oxford County Court, once a month, as a duty advisor in respect of possession matters.

She joined Turpin Miller in 2015 after working in the Policy and Practice team at Oxfam GB. Abigail graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Classical Studies in 2006. She has a CILEx Level 3 Certificate in Law and is due to qualify as a solicitor at the end of 2024.
