Elisenda is a Legal Aid Immigration paralegal, working across the Deportation and Detention team.
Elisenda Rubies graduated from the University of Oxford with a bachelor's degree in Classics in 2023.
Before joining Turpin Miller in September 2024, she volunteered with grassroots NGOs providing assistance to asylum seekers in humanitarian crises on the Mexican and Venezuelan borders. She also volunteered in the Youth Service and research groups at Asylum Welcome in Oxford.
Elisenda speaks fluent Catalan and Spanish (and can read Latin and Ancient Greek).
