Paralegals
This is typically your first role in your legal career. Paralegals provide administrative and legal support to our solicitors and caseworkers. You will be given the opportunity to learn and grow rapidly with direct first-hand experience. This role is a stepping stone to becoming a solicitor or caseworker.
You would be expected to be in the office 5 days a week, working with a solicitor, caseworker, or a broader team. The salary starts at £23,400PA. Paralegals also support administrative functions such as covering reception, taking new client calls, and supporting other caseworkers when cover is needed.

Solicitors
Turpin Miller welcomes applications from experienced Housing law or Immigration solicitors that could make a significant contribution to the firm.
If you are a qualified lawyer without experience in either immigration or housing, but would be interested in working for us in a paralegal position, then we would also be interested in talking to you.

Internships
Turpin Miller works with Oxford Brookes University, providing an internship programme for law postgraduates who have a particular interest in immigration law.
Turpin Miller also has an exciting partnership with the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights and the Centre for Criminology, both based within the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford. As part of this programme, TM hosts Bonavero student Fellows, who assist us in delivering a legal aid clinic at HMP Huntercombe. This is a foreign national prison with a capacity for 480 adult prisoners, most of whom are facing deportation. You can learn more about the Bonavero Institute Student Fellowship Programme here.
